Boise River Basin Feasibility Study/Anderson Ranch Dam Raise Project

To help address future water needs in the Treasure Valley and southwest Idaho, the Idaho Water Resource Board partnered with the Bureau of Reclamation to complete a feasibility study of new surface water storage within the Boise River Drainage.  After preliminary analysis of the multi-dam system, the study focused on a small raise of Anderson Ranch Dam.  The concept recommended in Reclamation’s Final Feasibility Study is a 6-foot dam raise resulting in approximately 29,000 acre-feet of storage capacity.
