Anderson Ranch Dam Raise Project

To help address future water needs in the Treasure Valley and southwest Idaho, the Idaho Water Resource Board is partnering with the Bureau of Reclamation to investigate and undertake a project to raise Anderson Ranch Dam.

The concept recommended in Reclamation’s Final Feasibility Study is a 6-foot dam raise resulting in approximately 29,000 acre-feet of storage capacity.

Phase one of the project was a feasibility study, and information on phase one is accessible here.

For more information on the project, please email IDWR and visit Reclamation’s project website.
