Collaborative Cloud Seeding Program Documents and Reports

*The Idaho Water Resource Board (IWRB) was directed by §42-4301 Idaho Legislature to authorize Cloud Seeding operations in the State of Idaho. The IWRB began requiring authorized cloud seeding project operators to provide reports and documentation of cloud seeding operations in April 2021. Reports and documentation were not required by IWRB, as per the Idaho Legislation, prior to April 2021.

Utah Division of Natural Resources Documents and Reports

The Utah Division of Natural Resources (UDNR) is authorized by the Idaho Water Resource Board-State of Idaho (IWRB) to operate generators in Idaho.

There are 3 authorized manual ground generators stationed here close to the border of Southern Idaho to supplement cloud seeding operations in Northern Utah in Cache and Box Elder County.
