Public Hearing | ESPA Area of Common Ground Water Supply Proposed Expansion | Portneuf River Tributary Basin

Due to the impact of ground water use in Eastern Snake Plain Aquifer (ESPA) tributary basins on senior surface water users, the Director of the Idaho Department of Water Resources proposes to expand the ESPA Area of Common Ground Water Supply (ACGWS) to include the Portneuf tributary basin pursuant to Idaho Code § 42-233c(2).

A public hearing will be held in the matter of the proposed expansion of the ESPA ACGWS to include the Portneuf tributary basin on March 25, 2025 in Arimo, Idaho. Please read the attached Notice of Proposed Action, Public Hearing, and Written Comment Period for more information.
